Rick Gentry + Six Organs

This box is comprised of 10 poems by the late visionary Rick Gentry and original music by Six Organs. Rick's poems first materialized as late night communiques via email that would pop into friends' inboxes between the hours of 1am and 4am. The idea for this collaboration was hatched many years ago but it has taken a while to complete. The first official collaboration between Six Organs and Rick occurred in 2009 with Rick writing the liner poem for the Luminous Night record using his cut up techniques with the actual lyrics of the record.

The music in this box consists of a 7" with all new acoustic guitar pieces in the vein of the Octavio Paz record and a CDR of abstract soundscape using the voices of Aaron Rosenblum, John Shaw (w/ son Oscar ) and Matt Krefting, otherwise known as the formidable Son Of Earth.

Phinehas Roy
Axis of Live/Evil

in a classic battle of good-versus-evil, you'll find herein portraits of american jazzman Miles Davis and north korean dictator Kim Jong Il as spilled from the mind of Mr. Roy. be warned, however, that this display is a sort of re-birth of the cool. yes, Miles smiles... but Kim's rays shine just as bright (thank god for sunglasses!). so good, so bad, Phinehas has cooked up a real bitches brew with this one.

Three Days

wunderkind production, created in a whirlwind of laboratory activity in early September, '06. material is object, as our two experimental scientists submit paper to a number of inventive processes: steaming, crushing, inking, tearing, wetting, etc. the results are here collected in a series of beautiful ditigal prints that are immediate and yet obscure, good for a breezey stroll or intensive investigation alike.

Bill Nace
drawings: winter 2005

a series of surreal drawings from, you guessed it, the winter of '05. figures of the alien, amoebic, and aquatic dimensions float across the page in dream-like succession, inhabiting a nether region that is both familiar and disquieting. unfold the book completely for a more linear glimpse of this evolutionary-existential debacle. "the teeth always go down."

11 panels, 3.25x3.25in, handmade, hardbound, accordion-style book with letterpressed front and back covers. edition of 200.
